The Princess Bride

 The movie called "The Princess Bride" was made in 1987 and created by Rob Reiner. Although it was an old movie, I liked it very much. Its genre was romantic comedy adventure.

 The movie "The Princess Bride" started with a grandpa telling a story called "The Princess  Bride" to his grandson. In the movie, My favorite character was Inigo Montoya and the grandson. The grandson was really cute when he says "Is this a kissing book?". and I liked the way Inigo spoke "My name is Inigo,you killed my father. prepare to die!" to the six-fingered man. He was filled with confident when he spoke to the six-fingered man. I want to be like him in that way. and my favorite scene were when Westly rescued Buttercup and when Buttercup found out Westley was alive. Buttercup was kidnapped by three thieves. And Westley rescued her by amazing fighting skills and creative thoughts. But then prince Humperdink tried to kill Westley. And because of his power, he was mostly dead. However, Inigo and Fezzik helped him. They brought him to Miracle Max. And they got miracle medicine that brought Westley back to life. HE appeared to Buttercup to save her from prince Humperdink. Buttercup almost have married prince Humperdink. Thanks to Westley, she didn't have to marry him.Also, Inigo did revenge on six-fingered man, who has killed his father.

 The story was mostly about finding true love. I don't really know about love so at first i was confused. But i knew the meaning of love through this movie. I think the lesson of this movie is love. And i also could learn that, to be a leader, I have to listen to all people. Humperdink ruled his country not listening to people he just did what he wants to do. So i learned through this movie that, to be a good leader, I have to listen to other people and be nice to everyone.

 I usually don't like romance movies. But i liked "The Princess Bride" . It was an old movie but it was funny and inspiring. I want to recommend this movie to all the kids around the world.
 

30-day challenges at GLPS

While i am at GLPS, I'm going to challenge myself to achieve three things. It's called a 30-day challenge. A goal is something you want to achieve or accomplish. The most interesting 30-day challenge of Matt Cutts was writing a novel.

                   

I was surprised to learn he wrote the novel in 30 days. So I'm going to select three goals that i want to achieve.

 The first goal is finishing my math book in GLPS. To accomplish this goal, I'm going to solve 5 pages of the book a day. and solve as many of the math problems as i can.

 The second goal is memorizing 10 English words a day. The first step to do this, is to memorize English words during my study period or at break time. And as i memorize it, I'll take a test.

 The third goal is never swearing. Instead of swearing, I'll talk to him/her kindly and be patient.

 So these are the goals that i want to accomplish during GLPS. I hope i can achieve these challenges in 30 days. 

Three things about me

 Hello, my name is Kim Ju Oh from South Korea. I will introduce myself. There are three things about me that i am going to tell you. They are Malaysia, shopping and soccer. Make a guess!

Well, some of you may think that i have lived in Malaysia or was born in Malaysia. But, It's not. Malaysia is a country that i traveled to and Malaysia was the most interesting place. For example, the foods. Especially, fruits are really different from our country. such as Durian. Durian is a fruit that is called the king of fruits. It tastes good but smells bad.

 "shopping" means, I don't like shopping. Because I have few bad experiences in the past while shopping. I don't even like eye-shopping.

The reason that i wrote word soccer is because i love to play soccer. Girls don't usually play soccer. But i think it's a great sport. My favorite soccer player is Casillas from Real Madrid. He is a goal keeper.
